Biography
Jacob Skolnik joined Stein & Stein in 2022. As a practitioner of family law, Jacob Skolnik often represents individuals with substantial assets and complicated financial situations. His representation covers all aspects of family law, including child support, visitation, post decree matters, valuation and division of assets, and premarital agreements.
Before joining Stein & Stein Ltd., Jacob Skolnik worked as a Law Clerk at Davis Friedman, a medium-sized Family Law firm in Chicago. He has further experience working in Personal Injury Law, assisting with the representation of individuals who were victims of sexual abuse and sexual assault. Jacob Skolnik was actively involved with Moot Court while attending Chicago-Kent College of Law, receiving numerous awards and becoming the 2022 Regional Champion of NYC Bar National Moot Court Competition Regional Champion as well as the National Finalist for the 2022 NYC Bar National Moot Court Competition.
