Biography
Kellie J. Snyder, a senior associate attorney at Stein & Stein Ltd., brings an empathetic, understanding approach to the practice of matrimonial and family law.
Before joining Stein & Stein Ltd., Kellie spent six years as an associate trial attorney advocating for those who had been catastrophically injured due to the negligence of others, working primarily on cases involving childhood sexual abuse and sexual assault.
Kellie is a graduate of DePaul University College of Law, where she served as a teaching assistant in legal research and writing. In this role, Kellie mentored over fifty first-year law students in crafting persuasive, thoroughly researched legal arguments. She completed her undergraduate studies at Ball State University, where she received her Bachelor of Science and Humanities in Legal Studies, specializing in Public Interest Law and minoring in Psychology.
Before moving to Chicago, Kellie grew up in Troy, Michigan. She is an avid participant in the Chicago Bar Association’s Bar Show, an irreverent musical comedy revue written and performed by Chicago area attorneys which has been a legal tradition for over 100 years. Kellie is also a co-host of the Chicago Bar Association’s @theBar Podcast.
